Typical repairs
Local repairs to tanks, containers, pipes, sumps and industrial components. The supplied sheet lists underwater curing and potable-water-contact certification; check the current certificate and conditions for the selected use.
Four-step application
Cut the required quantity. Knead the inner and outer components to a uniform colour, normally for 1–2 minutes. Press and shape onto the prepared area within the working time. Allow full cure before machining or painting; cold or underwater conditions extend curing.
Surface preparation
Remove loose corrosion, coatings and contamination. Clean and dry where practicable. The data sheet allows wet or submerged application, but surface condition and access affect the repair.
Repair design
Published tensile and shear strengths are material test values, not a pressure rating for a repaired pipe or tank. Assess leak pressure, fluid, temperature, defect size and repair geometry before choosing this method. Refer pressurised equipment repairs for engineering review.
